Step into the enchanting world of Palo Alto with our latest engagement session at Gamble Garden. Nestled in the heart of this vibrant city, Gamble Garden is a stunning public garden nurtured by the dedication of volunteers. Originally gifted to the city by Elizabeth Gamble, this oasis serves as a cherished community resource, offering a haven for horticultural education, inspiration, and pure enjoyment. This garden is also open for reservations for smaller weddings. It’s such a charming venue if I must say so myself!

A Serendipitous Encounter

I had the pleasure of meeting T & C through a giveaway I hosted, where C emerged as the lucky winner. Leading up to our session, I always encourage clients to fill out a questionnaire to provide insights that would enrich our photography experience. To my pleasant surprise, C provided detailed responses, and it’s very evident that he has a deep affection for T.

Our session unfolded amidst the breathtaking blooms of Gamble Garden in Palo Alto on a balmy June day, complemented by perfect weather. The garden was resplendent with a myriad of vibrant blooms, providing a picturesque backdrop for our photographs. Accompanied by their cherished fur babies, Olive and Po, who sported matching blue attire, the session was infused with an extra dose of charm and joy.

T & C radiate warmth and charm, embodying an easygoing demeanor that makes collaborating with them an absolute joy. Their willingness to explore new and playful ideas added an extra layer of excitement to our session – can you spot which ones we tried out?

Among the captured moments, my personal favorite is the last one during golden hour, bathed in the soft, ethereal glow of the setting sun. Despite the presence of other photographers earlier on, the garden became our private oasis once they departed, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in its natural beauty. I always strive to incorporate the essence of our surroundings into my photography, and this session was no exception.
